So, without further ado, here are the five best lounges at the Las Vegas McCarran Airport:

The Club at LAS --- Terminal 1

This lounge is operated by McCarran Airport and caters mostly to international travelers, including those flying Air Canada, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. If your airline doesn’t provide courtesy access, $25 gets you in the door to enjoy WiFi, television and phone, along with the option to purchase food and drinks. Seating is comfy and this location is usually among the least crowded in the airport. Hours are 6am to 2am, a welcome stretch for anyone with a late departure time.

United Club

Located in Concourse D, the United Club offers the earliest hours at McCarron, open from 4:30am to 12:30am. Amenities include a Continental breakfast spread, bar (with courtesy Maker’s Mark bourbon), private bathrooms and showers, WiFi, television and phones. This location is smaller than some of the other lounges, but makes up for it with comfortable seating and a spacious work area. One bonus: a United ticketing agent is on duty to assist with any issues and the lines here are much shorter than at the United desk.

The Club at LAS --- Terminal 3

This location has everything that the Terminal 1 location has, with the helpful addition of showers. Hours are slightly different, this lounge is open 8am to midnight, which is enough for most travelers. This lounge gets a little more crowded than its sister location, probably owing to the number of domestic travelers that take advantage of its services -- if you really need a quiet place to work, plan on getting there a little early to secure a good seat.

American Express Centurion Lounge

The AmEx Centurion Lounge at McCarran Airport is free to Platinum and Black Card holders and $50 for other AmEx cardholders. Welcome to the lap of luxury! This lounge offers some serious perks, including deluxe courtesy buffet, free drinks (including alcohol), gift bags with travel goodies and of course ultra-comfy seating areas where you can work, play or just relax. WiFi is high-speed, naturally, and you can even borrow a tablet from the front desk.
