Las Vegas needs no introduction. There’s gambling, clubs and dubious nighttime activities. But there are also some fantastic swimming pools, some of which hold parties that can rival the best clubs in Las Vegas. There are lots of hotels and lots of amazing hotel pools in Vegas, but some are bigger and better than others, and we've rounded those up for you. Singles on a trip to Las Vegas will especially love it, as the scenes are perfect for mingling or flirting, but everyone, including groups of friends hoping to live it up with some of the most luxe experiences in Las Vegas, will find a welcome spot in the pools. At the end of the day, a pool party in Las Vegas makes perfect sense: what could be better in the desert heat than a nice cool dip in the pool with a chilled drink in your hand? Yep, it’s a match made in heaven. Well, a heavenly match made in Sin City anyway.

See 5 tips, like when to book your ticket, from the Hopper research team that can save travelers hundreds on their flights to Las Vegas.

Party all day at Rehab at Hard Rock

This party is the big daddy of Las Vegas pool parties. It’s famous the world over and people travel from far and wide just to attend these weekly parties. Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has been going for over ten years now, attracting a vibrant party crowd who love to listen to the big name name music acts who play at this all-day party every Sunday. Revelers can either bob in the pool or get a cabana provided they pay for bottle service. But be prepared for some serious face control – unless you’re staying at the Hard Rock – as they try to keep the crowd as young and sexy as possible.

What the travel blogs have to say:

Encore Beach Club at the Wynn is a hot new entry onto the Vegas pool party scene

The Wynn does everything big and it does everything well (this is the place that has an 18-hole golf course right on the strip, after all) and the Encore Beach Club is no exception. One of the newer pool parties in town, Encore keeps the party going throughout the hot Las Vegas days with its world-class DJs, like David Guetta, spinning poolside in its three-leveled locale. Entrance to the pool pushes $100 for guys, but partiers looking to make a bigger splash, so to speak, should consider renting one of the 26 cabanas that come decked out with daybeds, flatscreens and private service.

Feel like a million bucks at Azure at The Palazzo

Soak up the desert sun at this luxurious, chilled-out pool. Lie back on daybeds while sipping champagne. Service is second-to-none here, and you’ll notice great extra touches like ice-cold towels, frozen grapes, Evian mistings and poolside massages. On certain days they hold fashion shows where glitzy models strut their stuff, poolside.

Chill out at Bare at The Mirage

Cool down at this pool venue famous for its well-made cocktails, chic atmosphere and private palm tree-lined swimming pool zone. People love to come down to Bare at The Mirage with a few friends and grab a couple of margaritas or mojitos, as the venue is a bit calmer than the storm that is the other main Las Vegas pool parties. In fact, it’s this combination of privacy and relaxation that’s the pool’s biggest selling point, along with its permissive attitude towards topless sunbathing. Its tagline isn’t "lose the tan line," for no reason, after all.

Get soaked at Wet Republic at MGM

Many mega acts play at this "ultra pool." Tiesto, the Dutch DJ, is a regular, for one. With underwater speakers, VIP bungalows, party cabanas and super sexy guests, this pool party is seriously rocking, and a ton of celebrity guests regularly attend the parties. Wet Republic is an adult-only zone, as it should be, but it’s only a small piece of the MGM Grand swimming pool, which has just under seven acres of pool area that includes a lazy river and tropical waterfalls – not too shabby!

Party in style at Tao Beach at the Venetian

Expect high-energy music at this weekly poolside party. Acclaimed DJs and music acts regularly play at this venue, which gets its guests dancing and drinking as only Las Vegas can. There are also luxury cabanas featuring HD TVs and games consoles, air conditioning, WiFi and their very own mini bars. And, fitting with its Asian theme, there is also Asian-inspired food and massages on offer at Tao Beach. When night falls over Sin City, the poolside scene is transformed into that of a nightclub, as crowds from the famed Tao Nightclub downstairs migrate to the pool deck to lounge and drink.
