Leaving Las Vegas? With all the convenient drinking holes at McCarran Airport, it has never been easier to stretch that Vegas party experience right until takeoff while easing off that hangover from last night (with more booze, natch). They also help kill time during layovers, make sports fans feel a little bit more home if they’re missing an important game, and generally instill a better atmosphere of community and familiarity in a relatively sterile airport. Stranded in LAS and fiending for a drink? Here are five of the best bars at McCarran Airport.

See 5 tips, like when to book your ticket, from the Hopper research team that can save travelers hundreds on their flights to Las Vegas.

Bud 29 Track Lounge

Bud 29 Track Lounge offers regular size beers and also huge beers, as well as a full bar for various shots and mixed drinks. Hungry? Go someplace else, B29TL is for drinking. Seemingly over 1 million televisions, many tuned to sports other than racing. This is also the only smoking lounge in the airport, perfect for wayward smokers embarking on a long flight. Corcoran’s Irish Pub

Who doesn’t love a good Irish pub? Corcoran’s is a great way to say goodbye to Las Vegas with one final drink for the road. Lots of beers, lots of wines, full bar, food, TVs, basically everything you expect in a supremely convenient location. If you need to recharge your phone or laptop, look around for one of the tables that features outlets. Don’t wait for table service (there is none), just go up to the bar and order. Village Pub

America has decided on the faux-British style pub, and McCarran Airport is not one to ignore appropriated traditions. The Village Pub doesn’t disappoint. They have their own selection of beers and ciders on tap, as well as the usual domestic and foreign beer suspects in bottles. They also have a large menu of pub food faves and plenty of televisions, so this is a great place to kill time. Four more words, if you’re not already convinced: ROOT BEER ON TAP! Home Turf Sports Bar

Visitors on a short layover will be happy to check into Home Turf Sports Bar, with a location that is convenient for a quick drink and a check of the current games prior to the flight leaving. Perfection is an elusive goal, let’s concentrate on the basics. Full bar? Check. Lots of TVs? Check. What else do you need? Best drink here is their Bloody Mary, it’s a welcome way to ease carefully back into real life. [Location: D Gates in Terminal 1]

Jose Cuervo Tequileria

We talked before about Jose Cuervo Tequileria as a great place to eat, it might not surprise you to learn that it’s also a wonderful bar to enjoy a shot or two, or more if you’re feeling really frisky. They feature a near-complete selection of tequilas from the Cuervo line, including Especials, Reservas, and Tradicionals. If you’re feeling less festive (after all, this is still an airport), they also have a large selection of beers on tap and in bottles. [Location: C Gates in Terminal 1]
