Hopper, the fastest-growing travel app, today announced that it closed a distribution deal with JetBlue Airways Corporation (“JetBlue”) (NASDAQ: JBLU). Effective immediately, JetBlue flights will be available across Hopper’s ecosystem, which today includes the Hopper app and Capital One Travel.
It will include all of JetBlue’s fare brands, giving customers full choice and transparency by leveraging Hopper’s industry-leading display. Additionally, customers will be able to purchase JetBlue paid seats selection both pre- and post-booking.
As one of the leading online travel agencies in North America, Hopper will help enable JetBlue’s growth into new channels, which include a collection of high-value closed user groups. Hopper has quadrupled the company’s air business since 2019 and is projecting 100% YoY growth over each of the next two years. With this new partnership, JetBlue is gaining distribution to two key channels – the Hopper app and Capital One Travel, Capital One's intuitive booking portal that allows cardholders to enjoy unparalleled flexibility and price confidence when planning their travel. These channels serve millions of travelers, but each targets a unique demographic, allowing JetBlue to increase sales and capture market share.
