Hopper’s SVP & GM of Fintech Featured in Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2023

Ella Alkalay Schreiber, SVP and GM of Fintech at Hopper, has been honored in the Senior Leader’s category of Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2023. 

The list celebrates some of the amazing women making an impact across the FinTech and Financial Services ecosystem, highlighting more than 250 women across eight categories who have made a significant difference across the sector’s many facets. The 2023 Powerlist spotlights the women who have gone above and beyond their day-to-day role and made significant contributions to the FinTech sector over the past year.

Ella oversees the company’s fintech business, which is key to the company’s growth in the last several years. She leads cross-functional teams of product managers, data scientists, designers, and engineers in the creation of unique, AI-driven fintech products that offer travelers an unparalleled level of flexibility and control, including Cancel for Any Reason and Premium Disruption Assistance. These products leverage the company’s vast data archive and proprietary machine-learning algorithms to help transform customers’ worst moments into delightful, loyalty-building experiences. Since inception, fintech has been purchased on $1.8B+ worth of trips for users from 172 different countries around the world and drives exceptionally strong CSAT and repeat purchase rates.
