Lotte Card and HTS enter into new agreement to create travel loyalty portal in Korea

New partnership with leading Korean credit card issuer will create differentiated travel booking experience for millions of travelers

Lotte Card Co, Ltd., a leading Korean credit card issuer, and HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) have agreed to develop a travel loyalty portal for Lotte Card cardholders. Complete with flights, accommodations, car rentals, and HTS’ leading travel technology, the portal on the ‘Digi-LOCA’ app will provide users in Korea with a world-class travel booking experience.

“The partnership between HTS and Lotte Card is perfectly suited to create a curated and highly personalized travel offering for their millions of cardholders,” said Dakota Smith, CEO of HTS. “HTS’ leading travel technology will enable Lotte Card to create synergies with its existing verticals and offerings.”

HTS is the B2B division of the global travel platform, Hopper, which uses data to bring transparency, flexibility, and savings to travelers globally. Travel brands can partner with HTS to optimize their own direct channels by leveraging HTS’ best-in-class travel and fintech offerings. HTS now accounts for two-thirds of the Hopper business and reaches millions of travelers around the world.
